We're having a "Green Day" at the office today, and they let us test drive a few cars: Leaf, Volt, Prius and Juke.
The Nissan Juke was an ICE car, which I think they brought over for a cost comparison. I.e. the sales man was highlighting how much cheaper it was than a Prius or a Volt.
One thing that I notice immediately while driving the Juke after driving the Leaf: Instant torque is awesome! With the ICE box, I would stomp on the pedal and the engine would rev up, but nothing much else happened for a second or two, and then the car would start to accelerate. With the Leaf, when I stomp on the pedal, I can feel it instantly! What a feeling!
I can't wait to have that same experience on an Empulse R!
