Penciled in on the calendar. Tentative yes, but race tickets not ordered yet.

I'll definitely be going. I live an hour away, in Orlando, so you bet I'll be there. My plan is to "commute" from Orlando to the event every day.

I think that this is the event. What do you think?

I had been planning to attend for some time, but a schedule conflict has come up so I will not be able to go. Bummed out about this, big time.

Aw rats. I was looking forward to meeting you, Gavin.

If you could ride the Plus all the way to Daytona, the fuel costs would be pretty reasonable. You would just have to couch surf all the way over to keep your costs low.

1770 miles to Daytona. Say 60 miles per charge, since you'd be going fast, makes 29 recharges. How much is a full charge? $2? $3? So under $100 to get there. $200 for a round trip.

Of course, it may take some time... :P

About $0.84 for a 0% to 100% charge, at $0.115/kWh.

If he can get 60 miles to a charge, then that's about $50 for 3500 miles.
