So I thought I would show a nice sunset photo I took tonight...I have a few others, but saying them for the blog next week...

I will put more up here, along with photos from the ride I'm taking on Sunday.

No kidding, that is an amazing photo! And taken with an iPhone no less! Damn.

for the bigger...

I did have to take two photos...one with near focus to see the bike well, and one with far focus to get the sunset...then merge them...

It is easy to do. I don't usually mess with my photos...but sunset is hard. I don't mess with the colors, just with the lighting and exposure.

I don't do anything with my daytime photos...the iPhone is great with daylight exposures.

Here is a second photo...acceptable...but to correctly capture the sunset and colors, well the bike is rather dark...

You will have to read Wednesdays Blog to see a "correctly" merged image

Merging is what makes a nice sunset photo into a very nice photo...what makes a great photo is a better photographer and nicer equipment than an iPhone 4S

Anything with super high contrast like that can work okay with an HDR shot.
