Okay... is it just reflective, or electro-luminescent? Either way - I wish I could have one.

I have a wonderful Brammo jacket that was sent to me as a Christmas present by JCAM two years ago.  I, unfortunately, can't wear it because it's a medium and I'm a large (or, probably, extra large).  I was thinking it was about time to give it to my daughter because she would look great in it.

Electro-luminescent
Runs off replacable or rechargable AA batteries.

Jacket is an ICON Brammo jacket.  Its been modified to add in Uglow Active Lighting which was originally developed for runners, police, etc. to enhance their presence in places that have lo or no lighting.  Its really nice technology.  The lighting is very defined and can be seen for almost half a mile, through fog, through rain, etc.  That said it isnt too bright to look straight into or cause irritation/distraction.
So...we put it into a rider jacket because...it increases visibility (safety), looks awesome, and is unique (like Brammo).

Just a test.  If ICON/Brammo like it they can design it into any of their Jackets and it can come in any Jacket/light color they wish.  The dark blue and the light blue lights appear to be the clearest though when held against the other colors.

Has a pulse mode too :)

Can't really tell from the photos... is there any armour/padding in that?

Yes there is already armor in the jacket.
The jacket was already built by ICON as a rider jacket.  We just modified it with the lighting after it was sent over to us.

The point is that the lighting can be added to any jacket supplied.
So armor is not an issue at all.

Glad I came back to this post:
Jacket is an ICON Brammo jacket.
Whaddya mean, "is an ICON Brammo jacket"?

In the Brammo.com store, they are still selling the non-existent* "Brammo Designed Casual Jacket" (Available 2010!).  (This, by the way, is the wonderful jacket sent to me by you guys, Matt.  Found out last night that it's too large for my daughter. Maybe I'll auction it off for the Buckley foundation).

Anyway... where can I find this ICON Brammo Jacket, albeit without the electroluminescent effects?

I try to keep track of these things, you know. ;)
