Cable Sheaths

Does anyone know if the sheaths that cover the wiring to the motor are supposed to completely cover them or should some orange be exposed near the motor itself?

I think the Sheath is to protect from rubbing against the bike. There's nothing that I can see that would rub against those cables where they're exposed.

You may be right.  The concerns I have would be the potential build up of dirt that could develop between the cables and the sheath.  Also I didn't have a chance to check this yet but, if the other end of the sheath isn't secured it could side up the cable and leave an area that is subject to rubbing exposed.  At the same time there could be a reason for exposing the cable that I'm not aware of yet.

Hi guys, the cable sheaths are designed to protect the cables down on the lower right side of the bike. It is part of the normal design that they don't cover the entire cable as your picture indicates.
