custom license plate!

Well, my request finally wound its way through the bowels of the California DMV.  After a couple months, I am now in possession of one of the absolute nerdiest custom plate jokes known to man.



(For those of you who are not terrible shut-ins and don't happen to memorize unicode character encoding . . . . here is a spoiler)

If at some point within the next year one random person on the street gets it I will be highly surprised.  SHOCKED, you might even say.  Anybody else getting/have a custom plate?

I went with KOOPEC.

I wanted to go with EFOPEC, but two things were stopping me: I teach MSF and showing up to a class with that plate would probably be frowned upon by the program I work for. And my girlfriend's dad has worked with and knows many people fairly high up in OPEC, so she put the kabosh on that. She hasn't figured out what the "KO" stands for yet. Hehe

I ordered mine in late December and still haven't received the notice.  When did you order these?

I have a dragonrider theme in my stable so I went with N(i)GHT F(u)RY for my Eclipsed Black ride.

Texas has a nice website where you can enter your custom plate and see if it fits and if it's available.

Haha well you definitely at least need a Dynamo plate (I did not know that was actually a sports team):

Clearly you need to get matching plates for your Tesla and Empulse!

Also I'd like to point out that Texas is the only state I've seen so far where you can get a license plate with a picture of a hamburger on it.
