How to install soft luggage video
« on: June 05, 2013, 10:12:42 AM »
Riding electric, we are all concerned with weight and cost.  I have always appreciated soft luggage because it doesn't require expensive and specialized hard mounts, it is lightweight, much cheaper than hard luggage and can be used on your next motorcycle, rather than having to be sold with the motorcycle that it is mounted on because it won't fit the next model (BMW hard bags come to mind).

Sometimes it can be a little confusing how you are supposed to mount soft luggage to your bike.  Here is a British video that provides some tips for performing this task.  You can ignore the tip about keeping the soft luggage away from your hot muffler.  ;)  It covers installing a seat bag, soft saddle bags and a tank bag.  Unfortunately it covers each subject using only one brand of luggage that looks well designed, but I don't think is available in the U.S.
