oooh, are those TTX racing wheels?

Probably all I can afford is the Brammo-branded sliders!

Firmware update, titanium bolt kit, frame sliders and mag wheels!

Just took the bike out and while no serious twisties, it definitely seems more playful with the lighter wheels.

I was surprised on how much weight the normal bolts where compared to the titanium ones! (maybe worth about a Big Mac :P)

but the wheels....WOW...super super light.  They almost felt fake when I picked them up.  I ended up getting the non R wheels as they are DOT approved and didn't want the concern about them possibly cracking on the street.  The non R's are a bit heavier but, damn!  They are still super light!

The frame sliders are nice too.  Just like the pics!!!

Can you tell me, what did you gain from the firmware update? I live in Hawaii, no dealer here (yet),,,
& I can't get it till we get a dealer here,,,

Also, would you (or someone else?) happen to know what is entailed in the firmware update?
Is it just an EPROM switch out? Or something that would have to be hooked up to an analyzer
Or something else???
Anyway, thanks in advnce!!!

No range change but the estimated range updates more often and I've never had errors come up. SOC seems more accurate.

I gave up on estimated range long ago,,,  :o

I just keep my trip meter to 0 when I start out fresh on the day, and at my (about) five mike markers, I have a little list in my head at whAt percentage I should be at,,,

Like, when I get to work, if I been going at a good clip, & no traffic,,, I might be between 48-52 % battery left,,
Which new s I just gotta slow down on the way home,, or go on the highway (35 max speed with stoplights), instead of the H-1 freeway,,, which is posted at 55 or 60 MPH, meaning I'm going 60-65 most of the way,,,

Which comes out to 2% per mile at 60-70 MPH, or 1% per mile at 35 or less,,,

CAT,

not much more to add.  I use to get a random shutdown but so far my bike seems more stable.
