Electric motorcycles in American Motorcyclist magazine
« on: October 16, 2013, 09:25:45 AM »
American Motorcyclist magazine is the monthly print organ of the American Motorcyclist Association.  On page 16 of their November issue they have a short article regarding the AMA government relations staff attending the Conference of State Legislatures, where they held discussions with many of the lawmakers and their staff members.  The article features a photo of one of the AMA's female employees standing next to a 2013 Zero S and the article mentions that Zero loaned them the bike to take to the conference as an example illustrating how motorcycling was (quietly) evolving .

Then on page 18 of the magazine, AMA VP Rob Rasor answers questions from their members regarding the future of electric motorcycles.  The article is backed up with a photo of a 2013 Zero MX and its rider bouncing off a dirt berm.

So even the "loud pipes save lives" (but don't tell anyone that we said that) AMA is slowly embracing electric motorcycles.   :)
