OK....so I have a clinic till 2pm on Friday in Farmington...which is 7 hours to Pikes Peak....so I would arrive late on Friday....sad, but that's what happens when you have an adult job....dang it....I will go pout now.

Still, I'll have all day Saturday and Sunday....

Do we know Brammo's race schedule?

And can I steal some charge if I need it

It's a long way from home, too far to ride the Empulse...but I will trailer the bike up so I get to ride it around some...any other bikes coming?

The electrics will race with all the other motorcycles.  So whatever day they race, Brammo will race, if they are racing.  This blogger is still waiting on confirmation.  Which is cool.  Wouldn't want to scare [edit] off.

So people who know the area...I was looking at staying in Manitou Springs...is that the closest place to the racing?

I would only be there late on Friday the 27th through Sunday...

Yeah...seems the official stuff is mostly at the Elegante...I am only there for the weekend, so not a lot happening at the hotel, all the action is on the mountain. So I might stay a bit out of town on the way to Pikes Peak...If I was there longer I would stay at the Elegante...

Booked a room for Friday and Saturday night. Now I just have to see if the hotel will let me charge on Saturday night as I plan to ride the Empulse to and from Pikes Peak...and probably a trip around Colorado Springs too. Wish I had a bit more time, but at least I will get to see some Brammo Racing...

Still bummed that I'm in Ireland for 10 days...but leaving the week before the Isle of Man TT...I would have loved to pop over to see that...maybe next year.

I missed the cut away in Vegas by just a few days...now missing the TT by a week....I was beginning to think I was going to miss all the fun (ok...10 days in Ireland will be fun...Vegas was fun...I shouldn't be complaining....)

So I will be trailering my Empulse R to Pikes Peak...And it got me thinking, which is (more often than not) a dangerous thing....

hmmm...will have my truck and a trailer there...Brammo could bring a consumer test model of the RR to Pikes Peak and I would be happy to test it out in New Mexico for a few months??? or longer

Just trying to be helpful...I'm just generous like that....

I can guarantee lots of daily riding and lots of beautiful photos...

Pikes Peak is this weekend. Practice tomorrow through Friday, race Sunday.

I am planning to fly in Friday evening. Not sure what's going on Saturday. After the Sunday race I'm heading up to visit friends in Denver for a couple of days.

Guys... Not sure if you heard, but you know Brammo is not going to be at this event, right?

Yes - Unfortunately, we will not be able to make it to Pikes Peak this year.  We were forced to make a tough call on priorities and in this case, the racing event had to give.  We did have every intention of attending, however.  We even had a secret test with this guy... Would've been cool...



Best of luck to everyone attending. Hopefully the electrics will continue to do well and show those gassers what's up!

I cancelled my trip...It would have been too much work (leaving clinic friday afternoon and riding 350 miles) to go if Brammo wasn't going to be there.

I will be sad I didn't get to meet Proto in person...
