 The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is pleased to announce the launch of the Massachusetts Offers Rebates for Electric Vehicles (MOR-EV) program.

> Funded by the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ Department of Energy Resources (DOER), the MOR-EV program aims to provide air pollution emission reductions for the Commonwealth by increasing the use of electric vehicles.
>
> Starting June 18th, Massachusetts drivers can apply for rebates of up to $2,500 for the purchase or lease of new electric vehicles, including battery electric, plug-in hybrid electric and fuel cell electric vehicles. Approved applicants will receive their checks directly.

> In order to be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:

> Purchase or lease an eligible vehicle on or after start program start date, June 18, 2014

> Choose a lease term of at least 36 months, where applicable

> Apply for program within 3 months of vehicle purchase or lease date
