My Brammo Predictions for 2010-11 (Pure Speculation)
« on: August 01, 2010, 10:48:15 AM »
Just pressed a new article on EmpulseBuyer.com. I thought it would fun to discuss it here. What are your predictions for Brammo in the near future? Personally, I hope they come out with a new version of the Log: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Log-from-BLAMMO/20149375729.

My guess is that Brammo is counting preorders to determine their next plan of action: stocking up on parts, thinking of upgrading to a larger facility, maybe a separate factory...

If a factory would have to be made to meet demand, it would lose a little of the hand-made magic of each bike but it would be necessary for Brammo to focus on marketing and distribution!

Maybe they could even rent out a section of an existing vehicle factory - with two models it shouldn't be too intrusive!

My predictions:

Brammo will not change their manufacturing facility, but use the pre-orders to schedule a steady production plan to maximize their current factory overhead. The pre-orders will be counted at some point in early 2011 to make raw material purchases to take advantage of quantity price breaks from their vendors. The selected vendors will be ready by continuous interactions with Brammo engineers to insure their tooling and facilities will be able to handle the demand from Brammo.

I think both the Empulse prototype and Empulse RR will be taken around the USA to various events to promote Brammo.

There will be some Enertia upgrades available to beta test a roll out to their existing customers. The upgrades could be better batteries, Wi-Fi access, toggle Power Settings (quickness vs. range) and some smart phone applications.

There will be more dealers than Best Buy around the USA and abroad in other countries.

The movie "What You Don't Know" will trigger a rush of orders in early 2011 for both the Empulse and Enertia.

The production Empulse will be heavier than 390 .lbs.

The next Enertia model will have improved range and a way to charge without removing the seat (beyond the easy work around that most of us are doing now).

I have more predictions, but I'll hold back for now.

Bravo!

I haven't heard of the "Don't Know" movie, I'll be sure to check it out.

I also want to know more about the iPhone app, as mentioned in this article

I'm lovin' this discussion but will let others make their own predictions before I make mine.  One little teaser - The Brammo Babes that appeared at Laguna Seca appear again in their own tele-
