Terry Hershner has finished the first ever electric motorcycle 1000 miles in 24 hours Iron Butt Association ride and has now become the first Iron Butt Association EV member.  You can read the story here:

Nice article. I especially enjoyed reading it because much of it was the same route I took on my trip to Ventura and back. Of course having 4 Level II plugs makes charging MUCH faster!

I was amazed that he didn't crash in the crosswinds on Hwy 154 between Solvang and Santa Barbara, given the huge sail area the tail of his fairing presents to the wind.
