I read a news report earlier this year that BRD had received a DARPA grant to develop a hybrid electric motorcycle, but that one in the video looks like their current prototype all-electric version to me.  The real issue with a hybrid motorcycle is packaging the IC engine (I think this one is supposed to be diesel), as well as the battery and electric motor.  That should be a real challenge and I am waiting to see how they manage that task.

The engine is multi-fuel, according to the video. It can burn petrol, diesel, JP8, aviation gas, kerosene, etc.

I guess packaging a serial hybrid may be easier than a parallel hybrid. You need a second motor/generator but can skip the transmission.

I'm pretty sure the bike is fully electric, and they are referring to the generator that charges it running any fuel.
