New Empulse 2015

This is what is said in a Spanish web on the new Empulse:
Brammo other small American manufacturer of electric bikes for this 2015 , will also come with new features such as ABS standard on all of them. Besides more autonomy by increasing the 20 % of your batteries and more power with 10% more torque , the Brammo are characterized by more bike conception , both aesthetically and in operation: provide gearbox six-speed clutch . The configuration is more radical, as evidenced by their ergonomic carrying the weight on the handlebars and the most backward positioning stirrups. Spread over tip for development but provides fewer horses and much cruder in use.

Also, my dealer told me that there will be two models Empulse R and RR and the engine E1 disappears.

20% bump in range and the RR motor would be a pretty big deal, but this strikes me as highly speculative.

I agree.  It seems most unlikely that Polaris would let leak to a Spanish website any details of their new electric motorcycle before it was officially announced to the rest of the world by the company.
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.

Just as I was decided buy the Empulse in December 2014 call directly the Spanish dealer because he had concerns that Brammo disappeared and were liquidating stocks and then stay for a product without development and no after sales service , so the dealer told me about the new products that were already being marketed , including I speak of the RR only runs in circuit , and also a motorbike field . Last week , contact the dealer where I bought the bike , and he confirmed the new models R and RR , and told me the E1 will disappear . After I read this article where they said also to confirm this increased autonomy.
But it is also logical that the case, the autonomy must be ever increasing, and the issue of benefits for the Zero 140 Nm of torque giving it becomes apparent that the Empulse better, besides the ABS will soon be binding in Europe .

The new website still lists those bikes as "Projects", and has no content under the tabs.

Knowing how some sites like to gather and post their content, and, not seeing much in the way of original content on the rest of the site, and considering this has no basis in anything Brammo or Polaris has said publicly?  Not much chance of being based in reality, in my opinion.

I know a lot of people want to believe Brammo will continue producing motorcycles in some form, but that runs contrary to the claim that Polaris "bought the Brammo motorcycle business".

That looks like an article that I read in Motorcyclist magazine last year.   ???

I think titling the article "2014 Empulse R" would be more appropriate.

I remember hearing that Motorcyclist had an article about the Empulse in their December issue? I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that this is that article, and it finally got posted on-line. Ari Henning is actually a well informed writer, I doubt that he'd omit the sale of the company to Polaris or the fact that there's no such thing as 2015 Empulse R if he actually wrote the article this month.

Edit: Ari mentions that this test was during an AHRMA race at Miller, which was....last August.  : :o

They did report on the sale.

http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/polaris-acquires-brammo-electric-motorcycles

I've been consistently underwhelmed by their reporting.  As far as the author goes, he may have had no control over the editor/publisher's decision to re-publish the piece, if in fact it was a re-post of last years' story.

My personal fave is this bit:
RIVALS
Energica Ego, Lighting LS-218, Mission R, Zero S

Seriously?   ::)

June is coming pretty fast and still no new Empulse. The Brammo motorcycle site is still archived. The Brammo site only talks about Batteries and Electric motors. Is there still any progress on the motorcycle front?
