Proud Brammo owner from Belgium
« on: June 05, 2015, 04:00:51 AM »
::)I've been riding motorcycles since 2004, starting with a 1996 600cc suzuki bandit, which was a good, but relatively heavy (in terms of weight) bike to start with. After a year or 2, switched to a 2003 sv1000s which I rode for about 10 years. But in recent years I only use my bike for commuting puposes, so I was looking for something a little less powerfull, more manoeuvrable. I actually had set my mind on a ktm 690 duke or a 796 hypermotard. While sifting the internet a stumbled upon an article on the 2013 brammo empulse r and it caught my immediat attention. Never cared much for electric bikes, but this thing was sexy as hell. So I went on looking for more info, reading bunches of articles, reviews and stumled upon this forum.

To make a long story short, after a test drive on a 2014 empulse, I immediately bought the demo bike which had a considerable discount.

Now after lurking this forum for some time, I decided it's time to show good manners and introduce myself.
So, here I am, a new member amongst the dying breed of brammo motorcycle owners.

Welcome to our asylum and it's great to hear someone from the very much more refined European population express the opinion that our Empulse is "sexy as hell." 8)

In the meantime crash protectors have been placed on the frame and side reflectors on the license plate and front fender have been removed. I'm planning some other changes, but will post them in the mod section in time. And here some pics of my black beauty :

Welcome to you.

You probably buy the bike I was looking for at Quality Bikes right?

I finally buy the last new Empulse R in Europe in Brugge and live in Lille (France) so we are neighbours ;)
