Energica opens their first U.S. store
« on: May 19, 2016, 09:45:04 AM »
Energica announces the opening of their first dedicated store in the U.S.  It will be located at 53 Page Street in San Francisco. (That sounds a lot like the location of the original Dudley Perkins H-D store, where they resided for many years before being chased out of the San Francisco by high city-imposed employee costs and regulations.)  Definitely not a cheap location.  Good luck to Energica and I hope they can sell enough bikes to keep their business afloat in the U.S.

Here is another article and this one mentions the ride that the company took on a naked Eva from LA to their new store in San Francisco.  No mention of why Energica felt the need to "de-tune" the Eva (like all of the IC motorcycle manufactures seem to do with their naked versions of their sportbike models) , when converting the Ego to a "naked" model.  ??? The store at 53 Page Street will open in July and the Eva will sell for $34,000.
