Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually miss Ted Dillard. Rideapart just reprints the press release, though MO actually had some juicy bits. Seems like nobody is really covere the eBike beat these days.  :-\

I wish someone would do an in-depth story on the new battery configuration. (There's a sentence I never thought I'd be writing, say, ten years ago).

In other news, be careful what you wish for, Roma.

And why no squat adjustable motor mount?

The Victory IOM EV story is getting around:
http://www.autoblog.com/2016/05/20/victory-motorcycles-electric-bike-tt-zero/
This is an interesting nugget:
Quote
Developed and built by its strategic partner Brammo, the bike moves away from the extruded aluminum, twin-spar chassis of previous designs in favor of a steel trellis set up. Inside that cage sits a freshly designed battery pack that takes advantage of the latest lithium cells to hold more energy than previous boxes.
Sounds like Brammo is still doing the heavy lifting in developing these prototypes. Would've thought that Polaris would start taking over by now...

It seems like Brammo kept all the prototype assembly expertise in-house when Polaris acquired them.

I wonder if the new cells are the 29Ah Farasis cells used by the latest Zeros. These cells have improved power density and energy density vs the circa 2013 10 Ah cells used in the production Empulse and the Empulse RR.

If there is an award for the best looking TT Zero bike my vote goes to the Saroléa!

I have never seen any of these bikes in person so my vote is based on photo and YouTube material...
