Broken back plastic piece.
« on: August 31, 2010, 11:17:30 AM »
Read the story at http://mtajudy.wordpress.com/2010/08/31/1315/  My field rep replaced the black plastic piece on the back of my Enertia. The piece cracked just under the tail light. Keep an eye on it with your own bike.

I actually think mine has a small crack in it.  Probably not going to get Dave to come fix it, though.  Maybe BrammoJen will visit.

Girl, when are you getting those painted panels?!!

Did the bracket break as well? On mine the plastic was ok just a bit scuffed towards the bottom tip of the plate holder from hitting the tire when I jump of curbs or hit a bump at high speed.

Luckily they came up with a revision that not only lifts up the rear fender for more clearance but it has an added sheet of metal to prevent water and dirt splash from going inside the under seat compartment.

I took out the reflectors too after that so I can take out unwanted weight that adds a bit of stress on the bracket and plastic when I'm riding the freeway coz I noticed it bounces a lot because of it.

Oh btw where is the wiki thinggy??? I want to see the date when I'm charging the bike.
