I think you will find some statements in this interview interesting:

Thanks, Richard.

Here's the pertinent part:

“We’re going to continue the electric part of the business,” Menneto responded. “Future products and markets will develop, both on-road and off-road. What will change are those efforts will transfer over time to Indian in the two-wheel space and Slingshot in the three-wheel space.”

When I asked if his response meant we’ll one day be seeing an Indian with an electric motor, he carefully said: “I think that’s a fair assessment.”

Here is a link to another article about the Victory closing.  Nothing about the future of the Empulse or discussion of the Brammo purchase, unfortunately:

Does any body have any idea of the support and part availability guarantees that polaris has made/will make for empulse owners? I'm very concerned by this news and I'm almost regretting not trying to sell the bike back after the first signs from my dealer of the lack of support they were getting from polaris. I made a significant investment in this bike.

After landing my first proper job I put all of my savings plus pulled more than a few favors from friends to make this idealistic dream come true only to see brammo being bought a month or two later. Now the news of Victory closing shop and Brian moving over to Zero I'm very anxious about the future. Do you think they will do some buy back program? Maybe Zero wants to help out if you move over to them?

I'd very much appreciate some answers from anybody really. I haven't tried to make any contact with polaris yet but will try to do soon.

Cheers,

A young, idealistic, "put all his eggs in one basket", e-rider.

I share your pain. Right now, I'm having hard time getting parts from them. Fork seal shouldn't be that complicated to get. First they didn't have the part number, they had to open a ticket. then the part cannot be ordered so they opened another ticket that has been closed by polaris. By chance, the winter is freaking long over here so I gave them the bike end of November so they had time to figure out all this. as for now i'm harrassing them twice a week.  I just hope I will not have to take legal action. they have until end of March to make it happen before beginning of season.

Good luck
