I would like to add side bags, anyone done this? What have you used for rack? I saw a local police agency with original Brammo bags, but I can not find where to purchase. I am fine with anything for side (not tank or rear)

I haven't tried mounting them but I have some large Joe Rocket saddle bags and I think it would be simple to to throw them over the seat and tie them down to the footpegs.  I'd imagine most saddle bags would work and tie them to the foot pegs so they don't flop around.  You could take the seat off and run the saddlebag straps under the seat they'd be more permanent and theft proof.

Personally though I am going to have a trunk mounted to my Empulse.

Brian,
I bought a set of pannier racks from Brammo a couple of months ago.  PM me for details.
