Do Brammo/Victory battery modules need servicing?
« on: August 28, 2022, 03:02:05 AM »
Hi folks, I'm asking this question in light of recent events regarding damage to battery circuit boards and some contact strips within the battery modules.
I'm considering, this winter, removing the battery modules and checking the inverted modules internally and externally for corrosion and perhaps covering some items with dielectric grease or other measures as appropriate. I will not be removing any cells from the case.
I'd be interested in the thoughts of other owners as this is an issue that may affect all Victory and Brammo Empulse bikes....

My bike is 8 years old and has 12k mls on it, I've added 6k of them in less than 2 years and enjoy riding it. The only faults being an overheating connection to the charger that needed a new shell and a speedometer sensor that had to be replaced.
