broken sub-frame fender bracket
« on: May 03, 2018, 09:40:26 PM »
Before I put the bike away for the winter, I noticed rear fender was a little "bouncy".  During spring inspection, I took the seat off and noticed that the inner metal bracket that is welded to the rear sub-frame was loose.  This is where the fender bolts to the frame.  It looks like the welds have snapped.  I took a few photos.

Think I have a case to bring back to Polaris dealership and have them fix / replace or should i take it apart and get it re-welded locally?  I'd have to trailer it in, a bit worried about the 100km drive...

Anyone else see this issue?

thanks,
steve

Given what many have experienced as Polaris's less than stellar service, and given it looks like a simple repair, I'd have someone local to weld it for you.
