Sunday Morning Ride
« on: July 29, 2018, 07:16:00 AM »
Nothing like an early Sunday Morning Ride. I've had the bike a little over 5yrs now and I'm slightly under 15,000 miles. Bike is doing well but I need some new grips.  8)

My solution to new motorcycle grips is to buy a set of Grip Buddies, Grip Puppies or similar foam grip covers and slide them over the worn out grips. Relatively cheap, easy to install and they work well. Most motorcycle shops carry the grips and they are available from Amazon and all of the usual accessory parts sources.  A lot easier than trying to replace the original grips.

Thank you. Check out the pic I took before I left at the crack of dawn.
Good call on the grips for a quick fix. I may buy victory OEM from the partspitstop just to have them.

Wow so black.  Good to hear the bike is still running good, the more I ride mine the more I like it  :)

BTW the stock grips on the Victory Empulse TT are Spyder Peak Grips

I agree with R230....  The foam covers (all over eBay) are sweet....  I put them on all of my bikes from new....  They make the grip a little bigger, dampen any vibration and just generally make things more comfortable....
