I am actually really interested in the new Livewire or Revelation. I think it has the looks, but does it have DC fast charging (CCS). That is one thing that will sell me on it instantly. If no DC, then it's DOA.
2012 Zero S.......returned to Zero for a full refund after one year of problems

2014 Empulse going strong

How about the new Pan American IC model?  H-D took its front end design inspiration from their V-Twin robot attempt of the 1950's.  http://www.motorcycle.com/mini-features/bold-new-harley-davidsons-2020.html

Yeah i'm really interested in the specs of the Livewire.  Hope they are going for at least 100 miles realistic range.

If H-D actually manufacturers and markets the Live Wire, I bet it will be a very expensive and exclusive model. Their Revolution model will likely be less expensive and probably more useful, but I would be surprised if it exceeds the performance of the Empulse. I think H-D is just testing the waters and using EV to get brownie points in the press. If the bikes don't sell, well we know what Polaris did when that happened.  ::)

H-D has a lot of big plans, but I am not sure if they have the cash or the staff to carry them all out.

I think we should have a pool where we all pick a dollar amount of the retail price of the Live Wire on the official press announcement of its release. Not sure what the prize would be, but I bet I could scrape up some old Brammo promo stuff.

Although, I would love for H-D to introduce something new and innovative, they have not been very forward thinking in the past. I am going out on a limb and say $24,999. Just because they cannot come out higher than Energica with an inferior product and I seriously doubt that it will have more hp, torque, or refinement than an EsseEsse9 (or Eva/Ego).

Yeah thats a good point who is going to be their competition with this bike.  Zero or Energica?  If you think about it kind of doesnt have competition because there not really any electric cruisers.  Probably price may fall between Zero and Energica at lile $20k

H-D probably still thinks that Polaris is their competition.  ;) I bet they have never even heard of Energica and Zero is too small a fish for them to be concerned about.  ::)  Whatever happens, if it does, it should be interesting.

The thing is, HD isn't really a motorcycle manufacture as much as it's a lifestyle brand. If you're buying a LiveWire, you better be prepared to buy the ass-less chaps that have the blue leather lightning inlays. I still think they'll price themselves out of the market.

I guess the good thing is if it does do well is that it might motivate Polaris/Indian to do something with that Brammo tech build a electric cruiser or something.  Exciting times we live in!

I would love some ass less chaps with lightning bolts on it haha
