An old Electrolux ad
« on: August 29, 2018, 10:13:57 AM »
Here is something that I thought was kind of funny to brighten up your day and even has a bit of a connection to electric vehicles: The September issue of Motorcycle Consumer News contains an article written by Glynn Kerr regarding dumb ad campaigns and slogans. Most of them are motorcycle related, but he also included this old ad by Electrolux, which I thought was pretty funny. Hopefully the picture is not too small to read.
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.

Apparently, that was a real ad campaign:

Haha nice I have a like 3 vintage Electrolux canister vacuums.  Great vacuums that withstand the test of time.
