Honda electric motocross prototype
« on: March 22, 2019, 08:38:01 AM »
Honda continues putting their toe into the electric motorcycle market waters.  A little late to the game, it seems to me:  https://electricmotorcycles.news/honda-unveils-a-new-electric-cr-motorcross-prototype-at-the-tokyo-motorcycle-show-in-japan/
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.

There is that.  But I doubt Honda knew much about Alta and their marketing success last year when they first started to develop that motocross bike, which was likely a few years ago. ???   My guess is that this bike will be used on Japanese race courses due to it being quiet and environmentally (sort of) green.
