Here we go SupermotoUSA is back for 2021. It's Round 1 at Shasta Kart Klub in Redding, California. Last time we did really good buy this time there is some pretty stiff competition and hot weather!

For morning practice I took the Light Bee out to bleed some of the energy from the battery so I wouldn't have an overcharging problem when using regen also so I would be able to give the bike ample time to rest. This was the asphalt only morning practice. Then I got one practice on the dirt with the KLX to give the Light Bee a chance to cool down before the race.

Here is my lengthy after action review of Round 1 of SupermotoUSA racing in Redding, California.  This was the hottest temps I have ever raced in so it was definitely a challenge on an electric bike that I think we did ok.  I had fun and learned a lot, hopefully we can improve!
