Kawasaki goes all-in for electric motorcycles
« on: October 21, 2021, 04:20:51 PM »
Kawasaki has done the H-D-thing and has spun off their motorcycle division from the parent company. The new division has big plans for introducing an entire range of electric motorcycles within the next few years. By 2035 they plan to produce only zero-emission vehicles. Here is the story as published by Motorcycle.comhttps://www.motorcycle.com/features/kawasaki-commits-to-a-future-of-electrics-hybrids-and-hydrogen-fueled-motorcycles.html

current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.

Thanks for posting this, Richard. It's been a big news day for major manufacturers and electric motorcycles. There's this story and the story about Ducati taking over the MotoE races. An eye opening day!

It certainly is. Let's hope that the future for electric motorcycles works out the way Kawasaki and Ducati plan.
