I raced it last year and was hoping to do better this year. Let's see! Also AMA and AMA D36 won't let me use a helmet camera so I have to use the Go Pro chest rig and I don't know why the audio is shit with this Go Pro on this race only. So I dubbed some music in there because it sounds like you're underwater most of the time not cool. This will be the last time I race this race you'll find out later on why.

So this bike is different than last years. This time I have the EBMX X-9000 controller with the regen throttle. I also made a regen handbrake, not a thumb brake but a hand brake and this was the race I wanted to test it out on. This time I have a KO Moto swingarm also and the biggest upgrade is the Chi Gladiator 72 Compact battery. It has more power and capacity than last year's battery.

First thing I want to do is install an EBMX controller. I want basically the bike to operate just like my Light Bee did just with the WR250R chassis. Then we have to figure out the battery situation. I was planning to use my Sur Ron batteries but I don't think it will fit well or stay with the same battery setup and just order more batteries from Amorge. Then the next thing to address is the suspension. While better and less punishing to ride than the Light Bee it's too tall for me and I the rear shock is too soft. From what I hear that is common for the WRR is the rear shock's rebound sucks. So I'll try refreshing and revalving the suspension. Then hopefully we'll have a winning bike!

Last supermoto race of the year let's go! Bronson Pearce supermoto extraordinaire hosts supermoto races at the Kevin Harvick Raceway in Bakersfield. It was a huge event with oval racing and supermoto racing!

DTX/Sportman Practice. DTX = Dirt Tracker (flat trackers) and Sportsman = Dirt Bike or Dualsport in my case with street tires. There was a knobby class but no1 raced with knobbies. You can tell I was quite lost at first and still getting used to the WR.

Supermoto Pro/Amateur Practice on Redshift SM39
