Another year has gone by and here we are at the Santa Rosa Indoor Short Track.  This year I decided to only race minis because my poor KLX sits in the backyard all the time collecting dust.  I race the Mad Dog race with my Sur Ron Light Bee and the Mad Puppy race on my KLX170.  Also my trailer only holds 2 bikes so I could only bring 2.


Practice - I kinda got short changed on practice because I was racing only mini bikes and there were only 2 minibike practices

Shot from my Ion helmet camera I say that because sadly there not many races that allow helmet cameras anymore it's such a dumb rule.  I brought two Ion cameras and a GoPro hero 5 mounted on a chest rig.  I started off with the Ion helmet camera and switch to the GoPro.  Telemetry for the Ion camera was from my Garmin eTrex 20 mounted on my handlebar.  Then I switched to the GoPro when the first Ion Camera ran out of charge.  Then I was going to switch to the 2nd Ion camera at one of the pit stop.  I got my battery plan down you have to be good at energy management if you are going to endurance race an electric bike =P
