Interesting too that they are still focusing a bit on the American market (good to hear as I was thinking Brammo would go hella hard at Asia, maybe to the partial neglect of us).
These bikes are pure USA bikes...yes some will sell in Europe and Down under...but is a mostly America bike. The small one, priced right would do ok in Asia and India maybe....
But really the Enertia and Plus are primed for Asia and Europe. An EV scooter would also kill in China/Asia and Europe.
But dirt bikes and street sports bikes are mostly Red White and Blue bikes.
Seeing the pollution in China, the restrictions to non ev licenses and the EV incentives, I had lately thought Brammo would just about move to China over the next few years...good to see they are keeping some staff in Oregon

Interesting news for sure, but I don't see these being popular in India at least.
It's a very price sensitive market!
One can get regular ICE bikes from 1K-2K albeit these are 100cc-250cc bikes... One could also get
the world's cheapest production car about $2500.
But considering that the speed limits and traffic congestion limit top speeds to about 50kmph(~31mph) or less, one doesn't really need much more there...
As for government incentives, we here in the US have been spoiled by the Feds (and state govs in some cases) giving out tax breaks for tech, like Solar panels, EVs, CNGs etc...
We complain about high mortgage rates, but the truth is, most people in places like India pay about 12% for their mortgage... so the 4.75% 30 year fix my banker offered me yesterday sounds very very cheap!
China on the other hand may be an interesting market, the advantages of being a totalitarian government, to quote engadget "what the Chinese government wants, the Chinese government gets."
http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/02/china-joins-better-place-on-the-battery-swapping-bandwagon/ They are definitely interested in EV tech (
and clean nuclear tech for that matter ), and since they seem to be investing in Battery swappable tech, A variant of one of the bikes mentioned here could definitely be something they're interested in (read tax breaks, if they do that sort of thing...)
