As I recall, it is a red button near the handlebars. You have to remove the upper body panel to see it and reach it. I also think you have to hold it down for about 30 seconds.

I am now questioning the reason of the reset.. Why?  I think we are driving on bombs..  How much cost the batteries replacements ?  How dangerous are they ? If your bike are starting to have a lower range.. Its becoming dangerous..   

First.. I need tofind where this reset button is.. I give this bike a last chance..

No evidence of a Brammo having any kind of runaway overload causing a fire.  Good luck on your project.

Ah. For some reason I thought it was red. Now I remember that it was just a bump and hard to find.

Try both variants, at first in OFF mode.. Hold down the reset button for a longer time (at least one minute) until the LED is green.

So I did the reset, light came to a green.. But still no go..  Error is still there and once an other error appeared "D. B40"  one time battery show fully charged and obe time at 0.    I can turn the lights onetc all ok but just it doesn't go..  :(

I hope it's not some dead cells.. wonder where to get them? or if possible to change them from within the battery itself .. I wish it would be just a switch to push somewhere..  now i need to find the way to measure the voltage of those batteries i guess ..
