I'm working with the Airtech on Kents bike. I just redesigned their battery pack to take care of some issues and dyno testing went great. They are at the flats this week and if everything goes well the thing should be a missile. It has the same power as a full speed electric sport boat.

They do have a web page but haven't updated it in awhile: http://www.eracebike.com/motorcycle.html

Yesterday it was rained out so no runs, hopefully they will get a chance today to make a pass or two.

mmmm, they might want to add something to the header image...

E=M/C  is a bit confusing....

E=MC2 is a bit more correct....but maybe I'm missing what they are saying

Wow... the bike looks like it's custom-made for the rider - no substitutions.

i do like how the rider becomes part of the aerodynamics...usually the rider is an aero drag...even tucked...here the riders legs actually complete the body molding...

nice as a one off like this...not sure how it would work on a production bike....but then this is not intended as that in the least...

Yeah Kent's bike is exactly that, a purpose built land speed machine to go faster than anyone has ever gone on an all electric motorcycle.

Their first record was 178mph, but due to some software issues the "throttle" was only opening up to about 33%. The last time they were out their fastest pass was 195mph, but there were some battery failures and the acceleration rate was set too low (my bad on the ramp rate, I thought salt would be slicker). That same time out lightning motors brought their bike, which they have been developing and racing for 3 years, and upped the record to 213mph or something around there.

This time out the acceleration rate is through the roof and the battery pack design is beefed up. If everything holds together it will be a missile. In comparison to Lightning Motors, this bike has 140% more power, superior aerodynamics, and was purpose built for the flats. We will just have to wait and see how it goes for new MPH records but it should be rather ridiculous and exciting.

According to the Killajoule Facebook page, there is water on the salt so all racing/testing has been cancelled for the day.  Hope it drains/dries out by tomorrow.

I am 35.

I am intersted in the Brammo Empulse because it so closely resembles the streetfighters I am in love with. The Triumph Speed Triple (up to 2010) and the Ducati Streetfighter.

I am an executive and am in love with the look and 'Cool' factor of being 100% Electric. I am in for 1.
Another optimistic fan of the Brammo Empulse Electric Motorcycle

It ended up not drying out. Now they are at the Mojave mile making some runs.

Thanks for the report.  Can you get them to post some photos?  Or share them with you?

Don't worry everyone, by the time the Empulse actually comes out those "kids" will be older and wiser and able to appreciate such a fine machine...   ::)
