Zero shows off to the U.S. DOT Secretary

I continue to be amazed how well Zero manages to get their name in the news and their motorcycles in front of important people. All at little cost to them, I might add. Last Thursday they gave Ray LaHood, the U.S. Secretary of Transportation a personal demonstration of their vehicles. Those guys really know how to promote their product. Read about it here:

I wonder if they could use a $535 million loan guarantee?

Any publicity for an electric motorcycle is good publicity for all electric motorcycles.

I first time I heard about an electric motorcycle was about 7 months ago, from a report about Tony Helmholdt who was building his own. Since he wasn't in any position to start manufacturing e-bikes, I searched for others. The first e-bike that came up, with a lot of search results, was Zero. After searching a bit more, this other company, called "Brammo" started showing up. Having read about a number of bikes, I decided that Brammo was going to make the bike that I wanted to buy.

So, I would agree that Zero is doing a very good job of getting visibility. And to that I say, Great! The more people are made aware of the availability of e-bikes, the better for everyone.
