Sliders will protect the bike from the ground if the bike is laid on its side.
Swingarm Spools allow the back wheel to be raised off the ground using a bike stand so that maintenance work may be done that requires the back wheel to spin freely.
The sliders and spools are screwed into the bike frame. The sized of the screw depends on the location.
