I received this from a trusted inside source regarding the Brammo batteries leaking: "I am not familiar with this failure but it appears to be water ingress to the lower module. Electrolyte leakage due to the module being inverted is unlikely in my opinion as the manufacturer claims the cells can be mounted in any orientation."

I moved all of my original log into a new folder called "old logs" and new files were created just fine. So I think you'll be fine no matter what - doesn't seem to be picky.

Korbin, did you need to drain the coolant fluid when removing the lower module? The manual makes it seem like you just unbolt the radiator and motor controller and tie them off to the side (while removing the lower module). Thanks a lot

I posted new pictures of the upper battery disassembly. I wanted to look in there to confirm that none of the cell leakage is happening in there also.
I found it to be extremely clean. no indication what so ever of either water or cell leakage. the bottom of the case even looks really clean. the only spots I found were on the corner of the end cap of the battery case which I think is some kind of assembly fluid or grease. The battery expanded by about 2 inches over night after I took off the end cap. I expected to find swollen cells but I didnt see any indication like when I took apart the empulse cells. I hope to be able to squeeze it back together with some clamps. My goal now is to get this battery back together and with the top case off connect to the bms and get some readings.

Korbin Dallas, if I open up the lower modulithic battery and want to remove a damaged PCB - at what point do I need to clamp the cells together to prevent expansion (which is common with pouch cells)? You mentioned something about an "end cap." Just wanting to make sure I have the right tools on-hand and avoid expansion if I can.  What's your recommendation based on the lessons you've learned?

You had a photo with clamps here: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipM-lb_Kyrf0rE277WO0YMEn7UiY8JcG8qs-ygcdzFxYYNq-NxkNbTLQfexNz9Upog/photo/AF1QipOrz7rXi_w1d9Coxavc7sRnq5saQetlFfukiMRH?key=MDVDc3IwQUFuSHdQb1BTTElCM21jamlTOWNhMTFn

Thanks a lot

Oh, my mistake -  15.01.06 (I just updated my previous posts and added an image from my bike software)

If I had to guess, we're looking for this file (or something similar):

94130704_P15SV1M06.BIN

Which is shown as version (see attached from my Victory Empulse TT):
15.01.06

Anyone know where we can find this? I did some deep internet searching and could not find it, though most of these Brammo files seem to be in people's personal file repository and not the internet :)

The missing piece of module "BCP firmware" seems to be version 15.01.06. Below is the version that can be found in "Firmware Block.rar" (see post link below).

BCP Firmware
94130704_P5SV1M03.BIN
05.01.03

Check out this .pdf describing the firmware: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eagy1j2Me3S9-uyNNygw9eiFh8taqpdz/view?usp=sharing

Whhhhhaaat?! Awesome stack of boards. Thanks to CasaDelGato! #teamwork

Oh, that'd be great. I only know of the online one, which (as mentioned) oddly doesn't have the battery module firmware, etc. http://polaris.diagsys.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=44

Hopefully someone on the forum has connections to former Brammo engineers.

Korbin, If you can bring your module/board back to life, it gives me hope that I could do it with mine.

Alternatively, does anyone know where we might be able to get a replacement PCB (pics from Korbin's attached)? I'm assuming the Victory module PCB is not the same as the Brammo - but does anyone know for sure? I do have some Brammo modules I could take apart.

Korbin and others: do I understand the shop manual correctly (attached) that the lower battery module assembly for the Victory Empulse can be removed w/out removing the upper?

You're very observant EV promise! I'm a little skeptical that the voltage measurement is accurate since it has some many zeros (5.000000). But who knows? Let me do some more digging in the full log files...
