Hi. Can you provide exact details? I got a brammo enertia bike where I have replaced with aftermarket batteries and wanted to get rid of the original bms and have the wheels spinning. Thanks for the advice.

What you need to know is, that the Enertia wiring diagram (Wiki) was not accurate in my case.
So I recommend to measure all wires to confirm the connections first!

After a lots and lots of tests I found out how to go around the VCU, so the bike can run on batteries without BMS.

Now Im trying to get the certificate to allow the bike to ride on the road (legally)

Also it can be done to drive backwards or how to activate the recuperation.

I raced it last year and was hoping to do better this year.  Let's see!  Also AMA and AMA D36 won't let me use a helmet camera so I have to use the Go Pro chest rig and I don't know why the audio is shit with this Go Pro on this race only.  So I dubbed some music in there because it sounds like you're  underwater most of the time not cool.  This will be the last time I race this race you'll find out later on why.



So this bike is different than last years.  This time I have the EBMX X-9000 controller with the regen throttle.  I also made a regen handbrake, not a thumb brake but a hand brake and this was the race I wanted to test it out on.  This time I have a KO Moto swingarm also and the biggest upgrade is the Chi Gladiator 72 Compact battery.   It has more power and capacity than last year's battery.

 I currently  have the lower module out and on the bench using it to update circuit board firmware and to confirm the overall health of these boards. When I get thru all the boards I will begin the tear down of the cells to see which ones are leaking.

The damage this time was different to the boards and I will post photos of that too.
