Empulse Luggage

I have accumulated a lot of soft luggage over my years of motorcycle ownership and today I tried out a set of Chase Harper rigid fabric saddle bags on my Zero. Here is what they look like mounted on the bike. The Chase Harper bags are readily available through most motorcycle accessory catalog stores. If they fit the Zero, they might also fit the Empulse and their styling would seem to be compatible with the Empulse. They use wide straps over the seat/rear bodywork and the front stabilizing strap could be hooked to the passenger peg supports, while the rear straps hook to the base of the turn indicator stalks, as I did on my Zero.

And here is a photo taken from the rear of the bike. The bags are reasonably slim and aerodynamic. It looks like they don't stick out much more than the rider's legs would.

My issue is that I need the security of rigid cases. I sure hope that Brammo has their hard cases ready when the Empulses are released.

The saddle bags and seat bag look a lot like what Zero sells for $350 as an accessory for their bikes, but this more complete set is only $120.

Those Dowco's look nice.  I have often thought that if I ever get a "tank" bag, I can use the magnetic ones on the plastic Enertia body just by taping some steel or other magnets on the inside of the body.
