Hey, New Rider,
I wonder if Brammo or Best Buy would ship a bike to you. If you dont like it, they could have it shipped back. In lieu of the fact that there arent locations all over the US, that might be a good compromise.
By the way, I am an owner and a female. I have owned and ridden bikes over the years and can tell you that this is SO EASY to ride that a complete newbie would be able to ride it, although a safety course is recommended and in some states manditory to get your endorsement. It has no clutch or shifting and yet it looks and feels like a REAL motorcycle. Its easy to use, easy to recharge, and just a whole bunch of fun. If you have
, I can give you a "girls" perspective. FYI, I am 5'8" and weigh 150lbs. Im also 55yrs old! Enertia-ette
Was thinking of a couple other things. Best Buy has a finance plan that is pretty sweet with $2K down and monthlys. It could make your purchase more palatable than buying from a different company. Also, Best Buy has a rewards card that gives you around $160 back and is available after 3 or 4 weeks needed to activate. Dont know if that extends to financed purchases however, that could be used for a portion of the shipping, should Best Buy decide to help you out. If they have a store near you, perhaps they could ship to the local store with another regular shipment. I know they are SO helpful when trying to accomodate the customer. I have no doubt you will be very happy with the bike...at just under 400 lbs, it is more than manageable.
