My "trip report" from the June 28 - July 26

0 miles.

 :'(

That's right. 0.

Why?

My 11-year-old daughter (who usually lives with my wife in Columbia, MO... yes, we have a commuter marriage) has been in KC since June 28, so I've been driving my cage to and from work as I have to drop her off at camp each day.  We had 10 days of vacation in the middle there (June 30 - July 9), riding 260 miles across Missouri on the KATY trail . . . on bicycles. Back in KC for two more weeks of camp.  Tomorrow, back to Columbia and then she gets shuttled off for two weeks at a Girl Scout camp near St. Louis.  I, however, don't get back to KC until Wednesday, July 26, but I'll be driving directly to work from Columbia.  Which means . . . I don't get to ride to/from work until Thursday, July 26.

Almost an entire month out of the saddle during the relatively short riding season in KC (shaddup, Gavin).  I love being a father but ... OH THE SACRIFICES WE MAKE.  AmIRight, Gavin?  Just you wait, Jeremy. You'll see.  You might want to buy the URL: pampersbuyer.com.

Okay... rant over.

That sucks! How about 2 and and a half months with NO motorcycle!

BTW, Im already PampersBuyer (LOL)... Last I checked, our pamper stash is up to almost 500 diapers, thanks to my wife's nesting instincts gone into in overdrive. Anyone working on a motorcycle that runs on used diapers?

If I ride to "the store or something" I have to leave her at home, alone.  Yes, she's old enough to be left home alone, even for a couple of hours.  However, in the event that my wife calls while I'm out and my daughter says, "I'm home and Dad is out on his motorcycle," she might as well tell her that Dad is:
1. parachuting out of a burning plane that he traded our house to buy
2. doing the nasty with a crack whore in a car out front
3. voting Republican  ;)
4. smoking bath salts and lining up his next face-to-face.

I love my wife, but there is a virtual wall between her and my motorcycle-related life.

And Pampersbuyer - I think we need a new thread that includes a "pool" for the date and time of delivery.  ;D

lol. Go get a set of passenger pegs for the Enertia and bring your daughter with you!

.. or tell your wife you need to upgrade to a Zero S or Empulse for the two-passenger capability.

good luck and hope the bundle of joy* comes soon...and the baby too.
