what do you guys do with your helmets?

do you take them with you?

did you add a lock to the Empulse?

just hang it off the handlebars/rear passenger grabs?

I'm debating putting a helmet lock on the bike...

I managed to find a Motion Pro helmet lock that would fit on the handlebars of my Zero (which has tapered bars).  But before that I used a short cable lock and wrapped it around the center of my handlebars and then through the face port of my full-face helmet.  I balanced the helmet on the "tank" and it seemed to work well and is more secure than using the typical helmet lock (like the Motion Pro) that hooks your D-ring to the lock, as these can be easily defeated by cutting the helmet's nylon strap.

And a cable works with helmets that don't have D-rings, like the Shuberths...

I have a Xena alarm lock and a cable adapter. You can loop the cable and through itself, and then lock the disk lock onto the bike.

That being said, I usually bring my helmet with me and store inside, but I've only gone a few places that weren't "work" or "home". If I were to go downtown, I'd bring the lock and cable + my backpack.
