LGHTCYCL,
The Empulse onboard charger can pull a maximum of 14 amps AC, no matter the voltage.
Turbocord:
- rated for 20 amp 240V circuit breaker, supplies 16 amps AC
- weighs 4 pounds
- indoor / outdoor rated
- costs $600, +$50 for a 120V adapter (rated for 15 amp circuit breaker, supplies 12 amps AC)
LCS-25P:
- rated for 30 amp 240V circuit breaker, supplies 20 amps AC
- weighs 9 pounds
- indoor rated only
- costs $550
The LCS-25P is significantly heavier and bulkier, and it is rated for indoor use only. It is a little more powerful and a little less expensive, but for portable charging the Turbocord is the way to go I think.
The LCS-20 is actually indoor / outdoor rated, and it can supply 15 amps continuous so it's fine for the Empulse. It's a little cheaper at $395, so if you wanted to wire up your own 240V plug it might be a cheaper way to go.
