My first mod
« on: January 06, 2013, 08:59:49 AM »
Hi all,

since I still don't have a licence plate on my shiny new Enertia Plus, all I can do with it is think about ways to improve its looks. The ugliest part is the rear IMO, and especially that insanely big licence plate mount. I removed that big butterfly-shape, sawed off the red reflector part and mounted the dealer-provided licence plate thingy directly to the remaining backside. And then I mounted that reflector to the licence plate holder.
Now all I need is a licence plate  ::)

before and after:

I'm also constantly crunching my brain over ways to add passenger pegs (and some sort of saddle extension over the brake light). I saw Gavin's and Adan's solutions but I don't like the fact that you can't put your whole weight on pegs that are mounted to the horizontal rear fork...

I think that you could have left the red reflector off entirely.
I doubt you would ever be pulled over for not having a reflector...
Once you go EV, gas is history!

But, at night, you might get run over a bit faster!

U-u-uhhh I think it is impossible to combine a mount OVER the brake light with the requirements for aesthetics...
