New battery temperature information

repro v2.07 now have the information on the temperature of the battery, but I have no information which is ideal working temperature and the critical temperature, does anyone have this information?
There is a new version of the manual that explains this and other new things in v2.07?

Today circulating in the highway for 15 kms  120 km/h., to come out and cut the throttle, has left me a message that said: REGEN OFF BATT HOT. In short had no retention of engine capacity. The temperature of the battery marked BTH 46 ºc and BTL 43 ° C, the temperature of the engine has come as maximum to 95 ° C, the temperature environment only 24 ° C.

To reach my destination and continued with the message. 1 h and a half  without charging it, and when marked 37ºC I tried it and now work the regen motor.  I put charging and charge perfectly.

The Empulse apparently uses cells from Farasis.

The P10A cells are likely similar chemistry to the P25A cells, for which a datasheet is available. The P25A cells list the following temperatures:

Operating Temp. -20°C to 60°C
Charging Temp. 0°C to 45°C

When BTH (the high temperature cell or cell bank) crossed 45C, the Brammo BMS likely disabled charging under regen.

Yes, I have seen the dealer do it and he used a special tablet for it. You cannot get that tablet your self

Unfortunately the Polaris dealer where I bought the bike no longer services Brammo.  I guess I'll stay at the old version.  No recall work either.  Luckily I don't have to take my TV set back to Costco when it needs an update.

 Skuzzle - When you say no recall work, does that include the tail light /license plate rear arm? IMHO, this is a very important safety update and I'd work with Adam to get that piece to you you. It should be relatively easy to install. While your at it, get the chain spacer thingie that keeps the chain from wearing a grove in the swing arm.

Tail light done.  I was referring to the gear box breather.  I'm not sure if I would have it done anyway as I don't ride in very low temperatures.  The chain spacer thingie would be good.

The "COLD BATERY - CUT BACK"  mesage appears when temperature crossed below 17 ºC and dissapears When the temperature rises 17ºC.
battery heaters are started when the temperature is below 19ºC, and stop when they reach 21 ° C.

But only below 12 Celcius you start to notice real power cutbacks on full throttle.
Regeneration is turned off below 12 Celcius
Below 5 Celcius you really notice the cutbacks.
When the cutback is actived due to excessive throttle the red battery warning light illuminates in the dash.
