DC fast charging the Empulse?

There is a Chademo fast charging kit in a top box for sale here from a guy that tried to make that work on a Zero.
Would any of you know if that would work on the Empulse?
Where would I be able to connect the DC power to the battery?
The voltage would be regulated by the kit so I shouldn't need to worry about Chademo station compatibility.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Computer bike not allow more that 2.3 charging... security for eletric and battery life

Does anyone know the onboard charger the Empulse has (make and model of the charger)? Whats the power rating on it?

Thanks for the info!! The victory has a different part number. ASM FRU CHARGER EPT part number 2413366. I'm just curious to see the max power output for this charger if at all its different.

What charge times do you guys generally see? I'm yet to get a 0-100% charge. chargepoint has this nice graph that it gives, which indicates the power being drawn out. This will give me a better idea to plan longer trips.

Are u planning to replace the onboard charger with the charger for a Chademo outlet or do u intend to use it as an add on charger?

I believe that a DC fast charger in combination with a 3+ kW AC charger is the perfect combination for any electric vehicle. The goal for any EV manufacturer must be to achieve DC charging times between 15 to 20 minutes. So I totally agree with the strategy of Energica for example.

The faster you can charge, the lower the importance of a big battery becomes.
So while the additional DC charger is additional cost to the bike, you can keep overall costs lower by saving on the battery as the battery is the biggest cost for an EV.

The only thing left is to make sure that the battery size is tuned to the application; commuter, touring, sports, off road, etc.
Once you go EV, gas is history!

I couldn't agree more! The SAE DC fast charging combo would be a great option to have. Would be ideal if Victory starts to give this as an option in the Empulse. I would upgrade without any 2nd thoughts.

We're u able to do any more research on adding a chademo charger? The other thread seems to be quite helpful with information. Having 2 3kW chargers is also a very good alternative to cut down charging times for longer rides.

Elcon has a 5kW charger:

If we could determine the compatibility with Empulse, this could be used as a replacement for the current 3kW charger.

I didn't find any more info and I don't have the time to open up the bike to explore for ways to add DC charging at the moment.

If not for DC charging, I dont know if any of u have explored to upgrade the onboard 3.3kW charger to something faster (the level 2 chargers can charge at a rate of upto 6.6kW). This can significantly bring down charging times without the need for a DC charger as such.

I remember reading one thread where one person was trying to add on another L2 charger in parallel to the one thats existing today. Did anyone try to upgrade the existing one?
