Hot hot hot
« on: July 16, 2018, 03:37:18 PM »
Well, 36C according to the air temp sensor.

After driving for about 50km at 120km/h and some quick passes of slower traffic
I noticed a message in my display: NO REGEN, BATTERY TOO HOT.
Since I was cruising down the highway I had nowhere to just pull over.
I decided to slow down a bit to give the batteries some rest.
The message didn't disappear and the regen function didn't come back.
Almost home I stopt in the shade and turned the bike off and on agian.
Problem solved.
Bit strange that is doesn't correct it self when the temp is low enough.
on the other hand having no regen let me experience how good the brake are :)

I've heard this will happen in you are riding fast on a racetrack, its normal just have to wait for it to cool down.  I've been to the racetrack handful of time anhavent experienced it yet not hot enough I guess.

Had no issues today, Yesterday was very hot and the bike had been charging in the sun all day. :o

Going to be on a race track this weekend. (Assen TT circuit)
let's see what happens.
