Empulse marketing sux
« on: March 22, 2011, 09:40:19 PM »
I talked myself out of buying the Honda I always wanted. I am hoping the Empulse will get my attention again soon. I wait and wait for some new Empulse picture, video, anything.

Still NOTHING.    :-\

Please Brammo, give me something to dream about. :P

I feel your pain, 1lesscar. A month ago I had never heard of Electric Motorcycles. And then, while reading about electric cars, I read about this guy who was building his own electric motorcycle. Soon after I heard about the Empules, and I got super excited! :o I wanted one right away!!

Now, I'm beginning to realize that I won't have the opportunity to buy one of these dream machines for another year. I'm over 900th in the queue, and the first ones are not supposed to be become available until past mid 2011. I figure that it will be well into 2012 by the time my number comes up, with any chance of a tax credit long gone. :'(

These days, I find myself searching for any scrap of information about Brammo or the Empulse. Sadly, there's been very little information from Brammo for the past few months. And looking wistfully at the lack of news is not making the production date get any closer.

Perhaps one of these days I'm going to cave in and buy a Roehr e-Bike instead. It's a lot more expensive than the Empulse, and I don't think that it's going to be as good, but it does have one significant advantage - It's available now. 8)

Happily, this forum has fairly frequent updates, which can keep me going for a while. Also, the one thing that does appear to get daily updates is the Brammo Facebook page. Not all the news there is about Brammo, or even electric motorcycles, but it's still interesting. Check it out. Perhaps it will hold your interest for a couple more days. :)

And who knows? Perhaps everything will fall into place and Brammo will have the first 1000 bikes on the road before the end of the year. I can only hope.

Richard.
