So, I just gave Brammo a challenge...
« on: August 10, 2011, 10:58:43 PM »
I challenge Brammo to ride the Devils Triangle here in Tennessee.  44 miles of dangerous fun.  Would be nice to have a meetup and drive this triangle.  Would also make a nice promo stunt too if they can make it all the way with a Brammo bike.   ;D

I say we all meet next summer at the Tail of the Dragon...318 curves in 11 miles...any of the Brammo bikes should be able to ride it there and back....

of course Salt River Canyon is much closer to me and hella fun and beautiful, but we would have to tow bikes there as it is out in the middle of nowhere...

I plan to take lots of rides between Albuquerque and Santa Fe...the turqoise trail is lovely and close...it might strain the limits of my distance on the Plus...but I can stop for a buffalo burger in Madrid and get a bit of charge while having a bite....

Gavin, I agree on the Tail of the Dragon. I would love to do that drive in just about anything.  I heard it gets pretty clogged up, especially on weekends and nice weather days.  Maybe we could get Brammo to say that they are filming a promotion or something and have the road closed off to non-Brammo people.  Just dreaming away over here

It's on!

I'll do the dragon, the devil and whatever other mythological monster you can think of. My challenge to Brammo is to get me an Empulse before this day next year, so I can do all that...

I like that idea too.  My goal is to get to see a Brammo bike in action in my part of the woods.  Another goal was to get Tennessee to start up another EV discount.  I highly doubt that will happen now with the things that has happened lately.

Looks like fun and I'm sure it would be a blast on the Empulse.  FYI, here's a video from last year (that many of you have probably seen before) showing the roads we test on out here.  I still like watching it, so I figured someone else out there might too!

I believe the first order of business, once the IET is in place, is programming the wheelie control software.

You know, it may require a lot of testing.
