Anybody welded frame with the battery connected? I have a slight crack in my shift foot lever. Seems like it might be challenging to remove and wondered if anybody has welded parts with the bike fully assembled?

In this video I removed the kickstand assembly which includes the shifter. Removing just the shifter might be easier also. Hope this helps it requires you to have a rear stand.
